Detailed plan
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe.
Meet letsgo Safaris staff at the airport and transfer to the hotel. You will have briefing on your safari today or tomorrow morning depending on your flight schedule. Overnight accommodation at Hotel No.5 on Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park.
Following morning breakfast, start for western Uganda. Drive to Kibale with stops at different places for stretching, refreshments and photography. You will have views of “Mountains of the moon” along the way . Lunch in Fort portal and proceed to the lodge.
Meals and accommodation at Tabebuia Spa and Safari Resort or Similar.

Day 3: Primate Tracking (Chimpanzees) in Kibale.
Following early morning breakfast, transfer to Kanyancu are for briefing on the chimpanzee walk. You will be led into the forest sanctuary by knowledgeable rangers who share detailed information on the flora and fauna of Kibale Forest. Interact with mans “closest friends” in their natural habitat, take photos and later return to the lodge. Look out for other primate species and forest birds
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi area and spot unique bird species. This part of the park has amazing flora and fauna. Meals and accommodation at Tabebuia Spa and Safari Resort or Similar.

Day 4 : Kibale Forest > Bwindi Impenetrable (Via Ishasha).
After early morning coffee, drive to Bwindi via Ishasha sector. Game drive enroute where you are likely to see multitudes of animals including Buffalos, Antelopes, Bush bucks, elephants, Baboons and tree climbing lions. Lunch at the lodge
In the afternoon, you will visit the local community including local hospital, schools and craft/gift shops. Meals and accommodation at Buhoma Lodge or Similar.

Day 5: Bwindi .
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is famous for mountain gorillas. You will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and enter one of Africa’s thickest forests in search for the hairy people. The walk is quite challenging but an interaction with one excited Gorilla family will blow your mind. Experienced rangers will accompany you and share knowledge on the flora and fauna of Bwindi forest. Late, return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Ride 4 a woman project run by brave and courageous women. Meet hard working Bwindi residents who are on a mission to eradicate poverty through empowering young women with economic skills. Meals and accommodation at Buhoma Lodge or Similar.

Day 6: Bwindi – Entebbe /Return Flight.
Have your breakfast and start the journey back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator. Proceed to the airport arriving in time for your onward international flight. Or drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Drive takes approximately 8 hours
Alternatively, take a bush flight from Bwindi to Entebbe departing at 9:45 am and 11:45 am ( on payment of extra $$$). Flight takes 1 hour. Note that flight schedule is subject to change
