5 Days Primate Adventure that will journey you to Bwindi as well as Kibale forests found in western Uganda ! have a grand opportunity to sight at the endangered Mountain Gorilla plus Chimpanzees.

Day 1: Transfer To Bwindi National Park
You will be collected from your place of accommodation by one of our professional guide with whom you will drive to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The park which best known for holding half of the total population of mountain gorillas in the world is forested area located on the lowlands of the outer fringes of a mountainous area. Arrive in the park in the evening but if time allows, enjoy some entertainment by cultural dancers from the neighboring communities. It is such a thrilling performance! Dine and slumber at Gorilla Forest Camp, or Bwindi Lodge or Engagi Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Tour
After an early hefty breakfast, head to the head-offices of the park for a briefing before beginning the exciting gorilla tracking adventure. By 9:00am, the guide will detail you about the day’s activities and then you will set off into the forest in search of the hairy giants. The time this expedition will last is very unpredictable but will depend on the gorillas’ movements. The tracking will include ascending and descending the steep rugged terrain which is somewhat tiring, but the joy you will experience on coming face to face with these tranquil giants will certainly be worth the efforts. After an hour with them, you will return to dine and slumber at Gorilla Forest Camp, or Bwindi Lodge or Engagi Lodge.

Day 3: Drive To Kibale National Park
On having a heavy breakfast, you will then depart from the Bwindi and head to Kibale Chimp National Park. The park is renowned for being habitat of the largest diversity and numbers of primates in East Africa. The park is comprised of several sections of rainforests which shelter birds, so birding is another possible activity. On arrival in the late afternoon, you will visit the region with crater lakes and later dine and slumber at Ndali Lodge.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking Tour
Set out for an exhilarating experience as you track gorillas in the verdant forest after having a hefty breakfast. You will be able to see other primates such as the baboons, Bush-babies, colobus monkeys and the Mangabeys, in addition to butterflies plus squirrels. The knowledgeable guide will make this trekking very exciting as he details you about the fauna and flora of the forest. Have lunch and then set out for a walk in the impressive Bigodi Swamp to enjoy birding and unveil the exceptional plants and animals in this sanctuary. Dine and slumber at Ndali lodge.

Day 5: Drive Back To Kampala
After breakfast, you will return to Kampala with unforgettable memories of this trp. Have lunch along the way and also stop by the equator to take some photographs. Arrive in Kampala late in the afternoon and head to your hotel to unwind after the long drive from the western countryside. Dine and slumber at Hotel Africana or at Serena Hotel.
